Lanny Reichenbaugh P.Tech. (Eng.)
Lanny brings over 30 years of experience in the geotechnical testing industry to ENC Testing Inc., having worked on a variety of projects including subdivision developments, highway projects, plant sites, commercial sites, maintenance repairs and gravel crushing operations. Lanny has established strong working relationships with all parties involved in construction including Contractors, Project Managers and Engineering firms who respect his quality control testing and problem solving expertise. Lanny is known in our industry for having a strong commitment to quality work and his relentless pursuit of educating others on how to get it right the first time. Lanny and Karen Reichenbaugh are the owners of ENC Testing Inc.
In addition to holding the Radiation Safety Officer designation for ENC Testing Inc., Karen is responsible to for the scheduling of work for concrete and compaction testing, conducting and arranging for pile inspections as well as she oversees the geotechnical investigation process from initial proposal to drilling to the completed report being sent to the client.
Nafisul Islam, M.Eng, P.Eng.
Nafisul joined ENC Testing as our Geotechnical Engineer in January 2018 and brings over 10 years of experience in geotechnical consulting and construction management in western Canada. He has undertaken a wide variety of geotechnical projects including site investigation and recommendations for industrial buildings, high rise buildings, transmission lines, solar farms, large diameter tanks in oil terminals, earth retaining structures, slope stability analysis, highways and bridges. Among his work experience, two years were in designing and load testing of helical piles. He is experienced in determining laboratory soil strength of core samples retrieved from deep depth for Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) projects and has conducted Phase I, II & III Environmental site assessments. Nafisul earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2004 and achieved his Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering in 2009 from the University of Alberta. His approach to practice is effective communication, scope identification, in depth analysis, and clear writing.
Matthew graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2003, successfully completing the Geological Technology program. Matthew joined the ENC team in 2008 and now with almost 10 years of experience in the field, he is involved in all aspects of materials and geotechnical testing and pile inspection process.
Scott began his testing career in 2007, and joined the ENC team in 2009. Scott was instrumental in the start-up of our northern Cold Lake, Bonnyville and Lac La Biche operation and now works out of our Sherwood Park location. In 2017, Scott married the love of his life Tyshia and welcomed his son Alec to the world.
Matt de Champlain
Drilling and Field Technician
Matt joined our team in 2017. Matt is an electrician by trade and has an extensive background in drilling both geotechnical and environmental projects throughout the province of Alberta in the construction and oilfield industry. He grew up in Alberta and says his biggest accomplishment in life has been starting his young family of three children along with his wife Lori. When he’s not working, Matt enjoys relaxing at the family cabin at the lake.
Lisa joined ENC in October of 2018. In addition to taking care of our administrative work and coordination duties for several of our projects, Lisa is working towards her designation as our Safety Officer and being responsible for our Health & Safety program.
